June 6 and 7 Events

Friday, June 6

There is a change on the meeting location for the Rapid City Cruiser Night.  Please meet in front of Alternative Fuel on Main Street at 6:30 pm.  Below is the information that came from the City.

On Monday, May 19th the Rapid City Council voted to move the June 6th Rapid
City Cruiser Night staging location from the Civic Center and Central
parking lots to Main street between 5th & 8th streets, and will include 6th
7th and Apolda streets, as well as the city-owned parking lots on 6th &
Main, the 6th street parking ramp, and the lot on 7th street. In addition to
moving the staging location, the Council also voted to change the parade
route which will now exclude 5th street and run vehicles from Main street
south on 8th to Cleveland, then east to 7th, north to Indiana, west to 8th
and returning northbound on 8th street. These changes should greatly enhance
the Cruiser Night event for spectators, participants, and merchants.
The aforementioned streets and lots will be locked down at 6:00 p.m. on
Friday, June 6th, so please be sure to have your vehicles moved outside the
perimeter of the closure to avoid towing.
Cruiser Night participants will begin parking immediately at 6:00 p.m. The
cruise will begin around 7:30 (this will depend on how many vehicles
participate-it may start a little later). Once all cruise vehicles have
departed the staging area, streets and lots will be re-opened to the public.
We expect that many parade vehicles will return to the downtown area
following the parade.

Saturday, June 7
