This Week at a Glance — April 28-May 5
Thursday — National Day of Prayer at the Civic Center — Concert and worship with Keith and Kristyn Getty at 7:00 pm.
Friday — The Truth Project Series “God’s Fingerprint on His Creation” — God placed his fingerprint on creation to show us the order of things and reveal the triune nature of social systems. We meet at Christian Life Ministries, 1948 N. Plaza Drive at 7:00 pm.
Saturday — Join us for a great evening of food and laughter at the Alpine Inn in Hill City. RSVP to Darcie (342-6177) by 1:00 on Sat. if you are going. Meet in the Safeway parking lot on Mt. Rushmore Road at 5:45 pm to carpool ($5 for gas per person) or be at the Alpine Inn by 6:30 pm. All must be present by 6:30 pm at the Alpine Inn to be seated together.
SNA Fall Retreat - Help Needed!
Our SNA Single Adult Leadership Team (SALT) is discussing our annual Fall Retreat. We are desiring to see this exciting retreat to happen this Fall 2008. We need your input and help. We are asking for your input as to the topics you recommend that should be addressed or covered. We also want a great list of willing workers to help in the planning, organizing, and carrying out a fun, exciting, and meaningful retreat. Please call or email Darcie if you have an idea, suggestion, or if you are open to help. We really need your help in planning this retreat–it is your retreat–let’s make it the best that motivates and inspires us in dealing with single’s issues and living a full and abudnant life. Walk for Life — May 3
WALK FOR LIFE: Let’s take a positive stand on the abortion issue!
The CareNet Pregnancy Resource Center (formerly Black Hills Crisis Pregnancy Center) Walk for Life is coming up on May 3rd at 9:00 a.m. Pick up a pledge sheet from Lisa Sissenstein or call her at 484-0773 to have one mailed. Start signing up sponsors now! Then join her and others on Saturday May 3rd for the walk…. A walk that’s so easy even she can do it! Join in on an easy and effective way to be a part of the positive pro-life movement!
This Week’s Event — Saturday, April 26
We are continuing on in our series in the Truth Project. This week is Lesson 6: “History – Whose story?” Begins at 7:00 pm at Christian Life Ministries, 1498 N. Plaza Drive.
Kristi and Jason Burton Concert
Kristi is originally from Rapid City and was involved in the young adult ministry, Oasis. Kristi and Jason were recently married in Jan. 2008 and have moved to Virginia. It will be a great to have them both back. Jason and Kristi are on tour across the United States share the love of Christ through word and song. Both of them are very musical.

Sunday Lunch for April
Sunday Lunch on April 20 will be at Fuddruckers at 12:30 pm. Fuddruckers is located inside the Rushmore Mall off the Food Court on the east side.
National Day of Prayer
National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 1, 2008 – Saturday Night Alive has been asked to serve as ushers for the National Day of Prayer to be held here in Rapid City. The National Day of Prayer will be held in LaCroix Hall inside the Civic Center. The event starts at 6:30 pm with the Destiny Praise Team and the official program at 7:00 pm. The ushers need to be at the Civic Center from 6:00 pm until about 9:00 pm. We need your help.
Ushers duties:
Seat people
Direct them to doors and other areas of the Civic center
Take offering
Hand out prayer brochures as they leave
Work merchandise sales for Gettymusic, who will be providing praise & worship during the program

Coffee House
Saturday, April 19th, Coffee House. This is our last Coffee House for the season. Our special guests will be live music by Cory and Ken. Ken is a guitar player and Cory loves to sing. It will be an enjoyable evening, we welcome each of you and your friends. Coffee House is held at Black Hills Bagel, 913 Mt Rushmore Road, 7-10 pm. $1 Cover Charge.
